The vineyards of Ramos-Paul, called El Chantre, are located at an altitude of 3,048 feet, between the mountain ranges of Ronda and Grazalema. A place regarded by the Romans, over 2,000 years ago, as one of the top wine producing areas of their Empire.
This winery has an underground cellar excavated into the limestone, under the old Roman town of Acinipo (which means “Land of wines”) and its impressive amphitheatre. This is the new project of a young couple, José Manuel Ramos-Paul Ruano and Pilar Martínez-Mejías Laffitte.
This is a Chateaux style project, and they only make one wine. It is very specific to this terroir and is their flagship, Ramos-Paul. A wine with “harmony”.
Delivered in 6 bottle wooden cases. Magnums available, but limited!
